Transocean Role in Gulf Oil Spill

Legal Assistance for Oil Explosion and Oil Spill victims who have been harmed physically, Sustained Significant Property Damage, and Economic Loss due to the Gulf Coast Oil Platform Explosion and Oil Leak (Oil Spill / Oil Slick).

They are seeking to limit their liability to 27 million dollars. Making their intentions seem even more unethical is that they will receive $560 million in insurance money from the loss of the rig.

Transocean seems to be very indifferent to the plight of the many individuals, businesses, or industries must endure due to their Oil Rig's Explosion. While Transocean plans to file its petition in U.S. District Court in Houston, the amount of monetary liability will most likely end up being ultimately decided in the U.S. Supreme Court.

The good thing for those affected is that by legally attempting to limit the monetary liability of their company, Transocean has in effect, has admitted liability.

It is extremely important for those filing a Transocean lawsuit to seek experienced legal counsel as soon as possible. Your attorney or lawyer may work on your behalf to ensure your case is filed in a timely manner, just in case the liability cap for Transocean is granted.
